How to make another ‘Babel’ of your great business dream?
You want to make a name for yourself, to tower above the rest.
Call a big agency. It’s easy, you think you needn’t tell them what you want, they would show you the way.
You plan the ‘Babel’-wild desire plus blind, motor-minded work.
You don’t plan the media, you go with a media plan. You don’t’ create’ anything, you go with one of the umpteen creatives (options!)
You think your brand will touch the ‘god status’ soon.
Maybe the creative made it to Cannes, maybe you are the biggest advertiser (money spender) of the year.
At last there’s just confusion.
As you watch the imaginary tower move up, your actual sales figures jump down.
The creative has done its job, the media theirs, without understanding what you need.
Confusion of the tongues. Solution-Call the next big agency in the panel, Spend More, be the biggest advertiser next year too....
